It's amazing what can survive over the years.
I recently took an inventory of some "artifacts" from my senior year at Forsan High that have managed to stand the test of times (and numerous moves)..
I still wear my senior class ring and I have my yearbooks and shool newspapers on a shelf somewhere.
However, some of the artifacts I uncovered are a bit unusual.

Some artifacts from graduation night in 1971 include a "memories" booklet, a graduation announcement, the program book and invitation.

It's dropped out of sight from time to time, but I still have my senior class ring and wear it every day.
It's funny how it used to be extremely loose, but now fits me just right.

I managed to hang on to a medal I won just before graduation for placing first in the University Intersholastic League feature writing journalism competition.
I also found my original driver's education certificates.
