One of the interesting things about getting back in touch with classmates after nearly three decades is the history that survives the passage of time.
In addition to my 8MM movie documentary of our Senior Trip, several of members of the Class of 1971 took snapshots.
I've always wondered how many of those photographs were still out there after all those years. Now, thanks to our class web site, those images from long ago are resurfacing.
Late in 1997 Connie Dunagan, sent me some photos she shot on our fun-filled excursion to Galveston and I'm very happy to share them.
Included on this page are several pictures sent to me by Jackie. They are amazing glimpses at a time gone by. I'm proud to share them with you.

How Many Classmates in This Photo?
One of the disadvantages of being the photographer is that you rarely are included in your own photographs. When I showed the 8MM film of our senior trip to my classmates after graduation I realized that I appeared for just a few frames.
I guess that's why I liked this photo from Connie because it's the only picture of me from the trip (I'm the dork flashing the peace sign!).
Also picture (from left to right) are Jacky and Marcy (holding hands), Tom Bill, Steve, Sandy, Judy, Billy, Karen, me, Everett, Jackie, and Bruce.

"Class of 71 Invades Astro World!"
Although the ultimate destination of our Senior Trip in 1971 was the beaches of Galveston, we made a fun-filled stop in Houston's Astro World.
The theme park had set aside a special day for all graduating classes of 1971. The general public was not allowed in so the Class of 1971 had the park to ourselves!
